Creating your Swifteq Account
- Go to https://agenthelper.swifteq.com/auth/mcpserver.
- Sign up with your email address, or sign in if you already have a Swifteq account.
Authorizing Zendesk
After you sign up, you are asked to connect your Zendesk account.
- Log in to Zendesk as the Admin or Agent user that the MCP Server should use.
- On the Connect to Zendesk Support page, choose the permissions:
- Read Helpdesk Data is required. The MCP Server reads your Zendesk data when your AI assistant asks for it.
- Write Helpdesk Data is optional and off by default. Turn it on if you want the AI assistant to be able to update tickets and create or update Help Center articles.
- Enter your Zendesk subdomain. For example, if your Zendesk account is at yourcompany.zendesk.com, enter yourcompany. Refer to How to find your Zendesk Account Subdomain when Connecting to Swifteq.
- Click Authorize in Zendesk Support.
- Zendesk asks you to allow access. Click Allow.
Once authorized, the page shows Connected to Zendesk Support with the permissions you granted.
Finding your MCP Server URL
- Sign in at https://agenthelper.swifteq.com/.
- If another Swifteq app displays, click the Switch between Swifteq Zendesk Apps button in the top right menu and select Zendesk MCP Server.
- The page shows Your account is ready, with setup guides for Claude and ChatGPT (Web), and the Settings tab.
The MCP Server URL is the same for every account:
https://mcp.swifteq.com/api/mcp/sse
Next, connect your AI assistant. Refer to Connecting Claude to the MCP Server or Connecting ChatGPT to the MCP Server.
Adding Write Access Later
If you authorized Zendesk with read access only and later want the AI assistant to make changes, you need to reauthorize and turn on Write Helpdesk Data. Changing the settings in the Settings tab is not enough on its own.
Refer to Reauthorizing or Disconnecting the MCP Server.
