If your account owner invited you with own login, the Swifteq MCP Server uses your own Zendesk login. Your AI assistant can only see and change what you can see and change in Zendesk, and changes it makes are shown in Zendesk as made by you.
This article details how to connect your Zendesk login, reauthorize it and disconnect it.

Connecting your Zendesk Login
- Open the invitation email from Swifteq, activate your account and choose a password.
- Sign in at https://agenthelper.swifteq.com/?product=mcpserver.
- Log in to Zendesk in the same browser with your own Zendesk user. It must be an Admin or Agent user on your company's Zendesk account.
- On the connect page, the Zendesk subdomain is already filled in, with the message Your Zendesk login must be on this account's Zendesk instance.
- Choose the permissions:
- Read Helpdesk Data is required.
- Write Helpdesk Data is optional. Turn it on if you want the AI assistant to make changes in Zendesk for you.
- Click Authorize in Zendesk Support, then click Allow in Zendesk.
The MCP Server home page shows Your Zendesk login is connected. Start a new chat in your AI assistant to pick it up.
If you have not yet added the MCP Server to your AI assistant, refer to Connecting Claude to the MCP Server or Connecting ChatGPT to the MCP Server.
Until you connect your Zendesk login, your AI assistant gets the message "You have not connected your own Zendesk login yet". The account's shared connection is never used instead, so you never act with someone else's Zendesk permissions.
Reauthorizing your Zendesk Login
Reauthorize if your Zendesk access has changed, if the AI assistant reports "Unauthorized", or if you want to add or remove Write Helpdesk Data.
- Sign in at https://agenthelper.swifteq.com/?product=mcpserver.
- Click the Profile button in the top right corner and select Helpdesk Authorization.
- In Reauthorize your Zendesk login, click Reauthorize and complete the authorization in Zendesk.
After reauthorizing, start a new chat in your AI assistant.
Disconnecting your Zendesk Login
- Sign in at https://agenthelper.swifteq.com/?product=mcpserver.
- Click the Profile button and select Helpdesk Authorization.
- In Disconnect your Zendesk login, click Disconnect my Zendesk login.
This removes only the Zendesk login you connected for the MCP Server. The account's own connection and data are not affected, and your colleagues are not affected. Your AI assistant cannot use the MCP Server until you connect again.
