This article details how to install the Swifteq Automation apps from the Zendesk Marketplace page. It covers how to install the following Swifteq apps:
- Articles PDF Export
- Merge Duplicate Tickets
- Ticket Parser Autofill
- Auto Remove Attachments
- Triggers+ChatGPT
- Advanced Search Plus
The examples in this help are shown for the Merge Duplicate Tickets app. When installing the other apps, the naming on the screens will show as the app you are installing.
If you already have a subscription for Help Center Manager, the subscription to the Articles PDF Export app is included for free.

Installing your Swifteq App
- Go to the relevant page for the app in the Zendesk Marketplace page.

- From the relevant Zendesk Marketplace > Apps page that displays, click Install.
If you already have one of the other Swifteq Automation Apps installed, you can also go directly to the connection for one of the other apps by selecting it from the Switch between Swifteq Zendesk Apps button in the top right menu.
- Enter the Zendesk Account to install the app for.
- Click Install.
- If not already signed in to Zendesk, you are prompted to sign in with your Zendesk login.
Note: This is your Zendesk login. A Swifteq account is different from a Zendesk account. Once you have installed the app in the Zendesk account, you will then need to create a Swifteq account from the app and connect it to your Zendesk.
Setting the Title and Access Restrictions
The settings for the Installation of the app display automatically in your Zendesk > Admin Center > Apps and Integrations > Apps for Zendesk Support Apps.
- The Title defaults to the name of the app and you can change this if required.
- You can Enable Role Restrictions. When Role Restrictions are enabled, only users that have the selected Role(s) in Zendesk have access to change the configuration settings of the app.
Checkmark Enable role restrictions and the drop-down list displays all the Roles you have set up in your Zendesk Account. Select any Role(s) that you want to have access to the app.

- You can Enable group restrictions. When Group Restrictions are enabled, only users in the selected Groups in Zendesk have access to change the configuration settings of the app.
Checkmark Enable group restrictions and the drop-down list displays all the Groups you have set up in your Zendesk Account. Select any Group(s) that you want to have access to the app.
Completing the Installation
To complete the installation, click Install.
The My Apps page displays and the name of the app shows in the Currently Installed apps. The following example shows how each of the Swifteq apps display in the Currently Installed apps.
Next Step
The next step is to create an account within Swifteq which gives you access to the app. Refer to Creating an Account for the Swifteq Automation App.
For the Advanced Search Plus app you need to activate the app. Refer to Installing and Activating Advanced Search Plus.
Changing the Settings or Uninstalling
After installing, you can change the installation settings for the Title, Enable Role Restrictions or Enable Group Restrictions at any time. You do this from your Zendesk Admin Center. Refer to Changing the Installation Settings.
