The pricing for the subscription of Translate Conversations is per month/per agent. When subscribing to Translate Conversations, this will initially assume that the app can be accessed by all your agents and calculate the total monthly cost accordingly.
You can change the Roles and/or Groups for the Translate Conversations app. When applying Role Restrictions and or Group Restrictions :
- This restricts the access and use of Translate Conversations to only the agents in the selected Roles and/or Groups.
- This also changes the total cost of your subscription to Translate Conversations. You will then only pay the subscription for those agents in the selected Role(s) and/or Group(s).
For example, if you have 50 agents, but only 5 need access to the app as full agents with client contact, you can select a Role or a Group to give access to only those agents and this will adjust the Total Cost of the subscription to apply to only those agents.
Enabling Role Restrictions and/or Group Restrictions
- If needed, from your Zendesk Admin Center - People, set up a Role or a Group with the Team Members who need access to the Translate Conversations app.
- Open the Translate Conversations app from your Zendesk Admin Center - Apps and integrations - Zendesk Support apps.
- When you click Select your Plan as "Unlimited", the Total Monthly Cost is calculated as applicable to all your agents. In the following example, this is calculated for 50 agents.
- To control the access and the subscription cost, Enable role restrictions and/or Enable group restrictions.
When Role Restrictions are enabled, only users that have the selected Role(s) in Zendesk have access to the app. Checkmark Enable role restrictions and the drop-down list displays all the Roles you have set up in your Zendesk Account. Select any Role(s) that you want to have access to the app.
When Group Restrictions are enabled, only users in the selected Groups in Zendesk have access to the app. Checkmark Enable group restrictions and the drop-down list displays all the Groups you have set up in your Zendesk Account. Select any Group(s) that you want to have access to the app.
The Total Monthly Cost is calculated automatically for only those agents that have access to the app. In the following example, the Group "Full Agents" has been selected. In this example, there are 5 agents in this group so the Total Cost is recalculated.
